Following our recently sold out event with Heads & Tales, we are excited to welcome back our friends Gina & Clare to Lon for another evening of magic. Come along to an in-conversation event with two extraordinary women – Gina Chick and Clare Bowditch – to celebrate Gina’s debut memoir We Are the Stars.
Gina Chick captured our hearts when she won the inaugural season of Alone Australia. She showed us all how to recapture our sense of wonderment and to reconnect with people, nature and rituals; her eagerly anticipated memoir tells the story of her extraordinary, indomitable life. If you’re ready to get lost in jungles, wander into wolf-dens, sing with storms, rescue orphaned animals, dive to the depths, dance ’til your knees wobble, fall in love, find yourself by losing it all, and most of all be real; this book is for you.
Lon will open from 5.30pm for guests to unwind and enjoy the magical space, with views over rolling paddocks and the ocean. The Lon Van will be open for snacks and drinks to be purchased separately (subject to weather). Guests will receive a complimentary glass of LUME wine on arrival.
As the sun begins to set, guests will be invited indoors to hear Gina and Clare in-conversation, with book signings and gift-wrapping to follow. Clare’s award-winning memoir Your Own Kind of Girl will also be available to purchase.
All ticket-holders are welcome to collect their copy of 'We Are The Stars' ahead of time in-store at Heads & Tales or at Lon on the night.
