It's crucial to remember that while skincare can be fun, young skin requires careful attention. Dr Michelle Wong from Lab Muffin Beauty Science warns that anti-aging messages and products like retinol or harsh chemicals aren't always suitable for developing skin. These can cause irritation, acne, sun sensitivity, and even hormonal disruption.
