The Bellarine is home to a vast choice of gastronomic experiences. Explore the Bellarine’s very own ‘taste trail’, boasting nearly 50 food and wine destinations. The trail is littered with farmgate producers, provedores, unique wineries, beer and cider and award-winning cafes and restaurants. If ‘not going anywhere’ is more your pace, our seasonal in-suite dining menu is sent to our guests for selections one week prior to your stay. Including farm-sourced grazing, locally sourced ready-to-eat homestyle meals, picnics and home-made celebration cakes.

Make the most of your Lon experience with selections from our seasonal in-suite dining menu. Ready to eat, heat or prepare in your suite at your own pace. Lon’s Honesty Bar and Pantry is also available to our guests throughout their stay stocked with small batch & unique local beverages. 

Our seasonal menus are emailed to our hotel guests one week prior to their stay. 

From food forest to plate

Picked fresh daily, the bounty from our farm adorns our seasonal grazing platters, breakfast trays and produce boxes. Native flowers are hand selected from our plantations and can be found throughout the hotel and occasionally in a bunch to take home too.

The Bellarine region has a maritime climate ideal for wine-making, fertile soils yielding copious produce and the surrounding waters of Swan Bay and Bass Strait providing an abundant source of seafood. This has led to some incredible restaurants, cafes, providores and wineries, all with a strong local focus.
